Volusia Giving Gardens students built and maintain a vegetable garden in a women's shelter in Daytona, built garden beds for First Step Shelter in DeLand, and are currently building an educational garden in the Port Orange Recreational Center. Produce from this garden will be donated to Hope Place, a transitional housing center in Daytona.
